FINDING OUR WAY BACK HOME
We are turning a corner and finally…
Things are clearly still uncertain and there is so much in our world to be concerned about, but organizations like Living Jazz are the touchstones of light and life. We will continue to do everything possible to keep our momentum going and do our part to address the needs of our community.
We need your help to do this!
Living Jazz depends on the revenue generated by our programs. Although we are proud of our accomplishments, we now need to work even harder to recoup 2 years of lost revenue from not being able to produce our standard programming at capacity which brings in 75% of our income.
OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL IS
$40,000
These funds, will enable us to:
Return to Jazz Camp West next summer with scholarships for 25% of our low-income attendees who need our help.
Re-open full capacity at Jam Camp West 2022 for 9-16 year olds with scholarship support for 25% of our campers from low-income families.
Bring back Jazz Search West this Spring, providing exposure, connections, and valuable resources for emerging artists.
Produce “In the Name of Love”, the Annual Musical Tribute Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in person this January, maintaining our commitment to honor Dr. King through music, while shining a light on civil rights, local humanitarian efforts, and our commitment to music education for public elementary school children.
Maintain our commitment to free music education through the Living Jazz Children’s Project for 400 2nd and 3rd graders in 5 Oakland public elementary schools.
DONATE BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31st TO HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!
With your support, these experiences can come back to life and together, we can all find our way back home.
A donation of any size will truly help Living Jazz continue Transforming Lives Through Music.
